Welcome to the Eagle Eye Winery and AlphaWOLF Vineyard + Olive Ranch, located in the serene Napa Valley AVA enclave of Gordon Valley, twelve minutes east of the Silverado Country Club. Just three fully vested permitted wineries share this secluded and whimsical area of Napa County that recalls the early days of Napa’s viticultural life. Eagle Eye shares this beautiful, vineyard-centric area with famed neighbor Altamura Vineyards & Winery.
This stunning, creek bordered, thirteen-acre property is planted with nine acres of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc, and two acres of Tuscan olives. Also, the property features a twenty-two hundred square foot, three-bedroom, two-bathroom modern single-story view home which was remodeled in 2015, overlooking the pristine vineyard that has two private gated entrances. The wine produced from this site can be found in Caymus Vineyards and other storied labels as well as in their own award-winning wine.
The existing fully vested winery permit comes with plans to build two thirty-six hundred square foot temperature-controlled production and storage and accessory use facilities for producing up to thirty thousand gallons of wine per year, a twenty-four hundred square foot covered outdoor area, sixteen hundred square foot crush pad and tank storage area and six parking spaces. The site already contains a two thousand square foot storage building and barn with paid for solar paneling and a tasting area with a stunning view deck and Bocce court beside the home.
Since 2000, when the first vines were planted, Vineyard Manager and Owner’s Bill and Roxanne Wolf have used “best practices” to manage and care for this special “terroir.” The namesake AlphaWOLF Vineyard began producing estate wines in 2008. Since that time Eagle Eye wines have collected over 94 awards for its Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc varietals scoring over 90 points including 96 points and best in class for their 2008, 2011 and 2015 one hundred percent Petit Verdot at the San Francisco Chronicle and San Francisco International competitions respectively.
The “Ground Floor” characterization of Eagle Eye’s business reflects the unlimited potential to develop the fully vested permit both onsite for wine production, sales, and custom crush services and through a second tasting room in Napa, Yountville or St Helena. The “turn-key” characterization refers to the infrastructure and equipment that is included with the sale for taking care of the vineyard and olive orchard.
