Located in Las Paredes, San Rafael, Mendoza
This lovely vineyard includes a large barn, tractor and manager's home and has 47.5 acres of wine grapes under netting. Some of the vines are quite young plants -- about 2 to 3 years old -- and are not in full production yet. Grape types include Malbec, Bonarda, Syrah, Chardonnay, Chenin and some common table wine varieties (old vines) which could be grafted with Malbec or Cabernet Sauvignon, or something like that if desired.

This vineyard property is going to continue to produce higher numbers of grapes over the coming few years. Production in 2007 was 90,000 kilos. The fine wine grapes were sold to the Suter Winery at 1.10 pesos for the malbec, 85 centavos for the syrah and 80 centavos for the bonarda. The mixed table wine grapes went to another winery at a payment of 45 centavos per kilo. The chenin and chardonnay vineyards went into beginning production in 2008.
Recently the owners put down 170,000 kilos of goat manure, which has an effective life of two or three years, so fertilization may not be needed again until 2010.
